Scientific and clinical evidence supports this psychotherapy and makes it an alternative that promotes calm and, above all, flourishing. From the beginning, traditional psychology has focused on problems and as such, what is achieved is to intensify them, or to reach a zero point. This means that the person manages to understand what causes the problem, but still does not know what makes them flourish (Seligman, 2012). Positive Psychotherapy, without ignoring the problem, is concerned with discovering what allows the person to live well, no matter how difficult it may seem at first.
